Spanish bank upgrades to Murex’s MX.3 with Optimissa
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a Murex upgrade to version MX.3 at a banking institution.
Our client, who has a high transaction volume, needed to improve operational efficiency in the treasury, as well as to increase the platform’s functionality. By taking this key step, the institution has started to use cutting-edge technology. Not only have the relevant features been added to the system, but now it is also possible to expand it with risk management and Datamart reporting modules.
In this project, Optimissa has worked together with Murex and with the bank’s staff, with the aim of using each team’s experience and expertise. User training was run by the software vendor, while Optimissa contributed to other aspects and stages of the project, including support following the switch to the new version.
The methodology used was Murex’s FEM methodology, and the processes it encompasses were followed. Despite the complexity and the scope of the project, every stage was successfully completed, from the analysis of the original model, through the development and testing environment, to the final launch of the new version towards the end of 2014.
